Embody eBook Jan Tilley Brooke Tilley Sara Tilley

We are told that goosebumps are a natural occurrence, but could it actually be your body trying to warn you of impending danger? Could there be an invasion going on all around us that to which we are completely unaware?
Humans are very complex creatures, but even with our contradictions and flaws we have something special that other beings desire.
The elder inhabitants from NeVaeh are sending their young to study us. Their mission to comprehend everything there is to know about “the fleshlings.”
Humans make the perfect hosts. They don’t even realize that the foreign energies are all around, lurking in the shadows, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to embody and become one with them.
Why are the NeVaehans here and what do they want? The truth will shock you and leave you looking over your shoulder long after the story ends.
We are not alone…
Embody eBook Jan Tilley Brooke Tilley Sara Tilley
This was one of those books that was just the right length to be read in a day or two, and read it upon recommendation of my husband who read it earlier this year. I would best categorize this book as science fiction, a genre that I loathe to read, except for Verne, Welles, Vonnegut, and those of the same sort."Embody" was an interesting story, and from what I got out of it, an alien entity is charged to enter the bodies of “fleshlings,” also known here on Earth as “humans.” This alien being embodies the humans, one at a time, and experiences, well, The Human Experience.
Although I followed along, I could not help but hear The Cone Heads talking in their Dan Ackroyd-Jane Curtain voices. It’s like when you think of a genie, and can only hear Barbara Eden’s “Jeannie voice” in its peculiar syntax without contractions.
Overall, “Embody” was a pretty good read, and for those readers who enjoy this sort of genre, it’d be ideal. In all fairness, I’m of the old school of alien beings and science fiction.

Embody eBook Jan Tilley Brooke Tilley Sara Tilley Reviews
I really enjoyed reading this book - it was a unique way of writing about the subject matter that I won't give away. The writer is fairly new and her books have been a great read. I have recommended this book to others and hopefully will see another book soon written by Jan Tilley. Have added this to my library to keep and will read again.
A refreshingly different look at just who we might be. The ending is not unexpected, but leaves enough questions unanswered so as to be incredibly unsettling! Fun but thoughtful at the same time!
Great book. Loved it and can't wait to see more books by Jan tilley. I recommend this book. Very good reading.
I really found this book terrible. A "spirit" from "NeVaeh" named "Notlad" (Dalton backwards?? Is that the best we could do??) embodies several different people in his/its search for what emotions are. I seriously thought that eventually there would be a point to the book, or something to help me rise about the absurdities of the names, people, shallow observations. There were times when I wondered if this book was written by a teenager~! The point seemed to be to be kind to others, you don't know what shoes they are wearing/what they have been through. I would have rather read a children's book with that simple theme. Plain and simply, don't waste your time. (
Great insight to human condition. The author moved me. I was slightly disappointed by the ending.
I found the premise for the novel interesting. However, the character Notland, when it was not embodying someone, was a little over the top. The embodiment of others to observe and glean emotions was different take. But time spent seemed either too short or not described enough. I felt cheated after 2 chapters of first embodiment. The ending also left me with some questions. It was okay but I probably won't keep it in my library.
A new way to explain that there should be more to us than what meets the eye. The idea for this book is in itself very interesting, and worth exploring. Unfortunately, new author or not, the book missed the boat by a mile. The book is awkward and superficial switching between an underdeveloped narrative in third person and an equally lacking narrative in first person. The ending is flat and predictable. That said, I can see that the writer tried to pass on a good message. The delivery needs a bit more work though.
